At Šenk’s homestead, in the middle of unspoiled nature of Jezersko, we have always lived in harmony with nature and its gifts. We also encourage our guests to do so. By receiving Green Key certificate, we have proven our high standards in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainability in tourism industry.

We are trying to use natural resources carefully. Most of the food, we prepare for our guests, we produce on our farm in ecological way. We think the path from the garden / pasture should be as short as possible. Guests are asked to use bed linen and towels wisely; during the guests’s stay, we change them only on request. In our country, the best drinking water comes directly from the pipes. In our farm, we all carefully recycle the waste. 

Caring for the environment costs us nothing, but it preserves a better world for our children and grandchildren!
